Hello Everyone,

A couple of updates:

SHAW CENTRE
The Shaw Centre – Phase I – is now open and public is invited to an Open House at the Shaw Centre on January 24 between 2:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to see program and fitness demonstrations, experience the new Hamm Fitness Center, and tour the facility. Refreshments will be provided and guests will have the opportunity to enter to win a 3 month LeisureCard and other prizes. Admission on this day will be free.

SNOW ANGEL
Saskatoon Snow Angels is a program to raise awareness of the need to remember neighbours when shovelling snow, especially if they’re elderly or have health concerns that prevent them from clearing their own sidewalks. The program encourages neighbours to be good neighbours and help keep residential sidewalks shovelled, ice-free, and safe.
Residents can nominate a person to be a Snow Angel by writing or emailing the City of Saskatoon (snow.angel@saskatoon.ca) and telling their story, and providing the name and address of the person who shovelled their sidewalk. The City will send each Snow Angel a thank-you, and enter them into monthly prize draws made throughout the winter.
